FAQ - PRICING AND INVOICING
- How do you PRICE your services?
Most of our problem-solving services are priced
by the hour. We charge 25 euros an hour for a regular StreetSmart
Helper, and 40 euros for a SuperSmart Helper (i.e. one that has
special training in law, interpreting or accounting, for example).
A StreetSmart Helper is usually able to take care of
most of the requests that we receive. At the same time, our rates
for a SeriouslySmart Helper are still much lower than
what you would pay for a lawyer, tax advisor or interpreter, just
to name a few alternatives. Referrals of household help are an
exception - these cost 50 euros/candidate including the search,
pre-interview, recommendation and setting up a personal meeting.

Helpers Language Services has the most usual pricing. Translations are priced by character, interpreting by the hour and so on. Please write to us for a quote.
In general, for any type of job, we can usually think up a "low-budget" and a "full-service" solution, and leave it up to the client which one he/she prefers.
All of our prices are subject to 20% VAT. The only exception is for companies registered in the EU but outside Hungary; transactions with such organizations are exempt from VAT.
- Do you offer any DISCOUNTS?
Discounts are available on a regular basis to our regular clients. If you plan ahead on your tasks, we will estimate how many hours of work those tasks will involve, undertake to provide a helper for any number of hours between 10 and 50 whenever and wherever you need one, and give you a significant discount. Depending on the number of hours they will need in advance, our clients can save as much as 300 EUR.
Clients of any department of Helpers get a 15% discount automatically if they decide to try out another one of our services. We also offer seasonal discounts - please click here to see our current newsletter for some ideas.
- What PAYMENT METHODS are possible, especially from ABROAD?
We can accept payment via bank transfer or cash at the time of delivery. After our job is done, we invoice our services to individuals or companies on a VAT-invoice under the title "language services," "administration" or "consulting". Hungarian companies are charged in HUF at the current rate of the Euro. Foreign companies receive an English-language invoice, and can pay in whatever currency they wish.
Please note that our services are subject to 20% VAT in Hungary, and both individuals and organizations must pay this form of sales tax. The only exemption is for companies that are registered in the EU but not in Hungary, so for them there is no VAT on top of our fees.
